We're a group of private practice owners, who bought our local ER to maintain high quality medicine at small-town prices. We are looking for a full or part time Veterinarian who practices excellent small animal emergency medicine and surgery, has great communication, works well with a team, and wants to have fun at work. We're still privately owned and plan to keep it that way! We are a (relatively) young, collegial group of 8 owners and have a professional, talented and close-knit partnership. We work shifts in the practice and we share patients with our day practices. Our main goal is to serve the community, not deliver profits to the corporate HQ. We encourage team effort and going above and beyond job descriptions. Our facility is newly remodeled and is furnished with top-notch equipment. We regularly invest in equipment and people. Located in Longview, Texas, East Texas Pet Emergency offers overnight and emergency care for local day practices in our small community. We offer a flexible work schedule and a mentorship program for recent graduates.

Work 4 shifts per week and have plenty of time for play at our local lakes, parks and trails! Our associates average a total compensation of greater than $180,000 and we also offer 20% of production, as well as one of the best benefits packages in the profession. No negative accrual or hidden tricks. Full time benefits include health insurance stipend, paid time off, generous CE allowance, retirement and all State and Federal licenses and dues paid totaling over $20,000 in pre-tax benefits. We are currently offering a $15,000 signing bonus.  Base annual salary 160,000 for new graduates, additional compensation for more experienced Veterinarians.
