AAHA Certified Hospital seeks Full Time Associate, New Graduates Welcome

Vista Larga Animal Hospital in Edgewood, NM is seeking a Full Time veterinarian to join us in our busy independent and locally owned AAHA accredited small animal practice. Edgewood is a small semi-rural community located just 20 minutes away from beautiful Albuquerque, NM  and 50 miles south of Santa Fe on the East side of the Sandia Mountains. Our clinic is a full service hospital built six years ago with full medical and surgical services. We treat dogs, cats, and small mammals, and would be open to seeing some of our smaller local livestock as well. After hours emergencies are handled by our local emergency clinics.  We welcome new graduates and believe strongly in mentoring and encouraging expansion of skills and knowledge. Our practice owner is ABVP Board Certified in Canine and Feline Practice, and can assist you with furthering your educational and advancement goals. A new graduate can expect to earn between $80,000 - $100,000 annually in production salary, plus benefits. Benefits include paid licensing and liability insurance, AVMA and local association dues, continuing education, health and dental insurance, 401K opportunity, paid vacation, sick leave, and flexible family friendly scheduling.  Guaranteed competitive base salary with minimum 21 percent production dependent on experience, no negative production penalty.
