Kirby Animal Hospital in San Antonio, TX is looking for a full or part-time associate veterinarian. We are very excited to have moved back into our freshly renovated hospital, which has all new technology (paperless, cloud-based practice management software, tablets), new equipment (upgraded dental x-ray, new IDEXX laboratory machines, digital x-ray, cold laser, etc). Our hospital is led by Dr. Holly Pappas, who is a fantastic cultural leader and would love to mentor a younger graduate, or partner with a more experienced associate.
Our group has a young leadership team, led by doctors who support innovation and modern technology, but are maintaining family-owned local flavor with a large emphasis on community involvement. We have significant resources and commitment to forward-thinking tools, technology, and equipment, and encourage suggestions from our employees on how to continue to make improvements. Our goal is to have an industry-leading employee experience in addition to our comprehensive benefits package.
The primary responsibilities of the associate veterinarian are to practice high-quality veterinary care, provide excellent customer service to our clients, and a dedication to continuing education and development. Our Chief of Staff is available for mentorship, and you will likely work with her 3-4 days per week. Ideal qualities include being personable, confident, hardworking, and dedicated to high-quality companion animal general practice (internal medicine and general surgery).
